Loyal Friends – Monthly Giving

Loyal Friends are individuals who make regular contributions to help the Chenango SPCA save lives throughout the year. As a Loyal Friend, your gift provides steady funding that provides care, compassion and respect for each and every animal that arrives at the shelter. Tribute Gifts
Tribute gifts are a special way to honor the family members, friends, and pets that have made our lives brighter. You can share warm wishes of thank you, congratulations, happy birthday, happy holidays, or any other message you would like to give. In recognition of your donation, the person or family will receive a personalized card or letter from us letting them know about your donation. We always keep your gift amount confidential. Please provide the name(s) and address of the person who should receive notice of your gift.
Memorial Gifts
Gifts can also be given as a way to memorialize a loved one or cherished pet that has passed away. Memorial gifts to the Chenango SPCA are a wonderful way to celebrate and remember the life of those important to you, while helping the animals at the shelter have a new chance at life. A letter will be sent to the family notifying them of your gift. Please provide the name(s) and address of the family member so we may acknowledge your tribute
We appreciate families that designate the Chenango SPCA as a recipient of memorial donations in lieu of flowers. We are pleased to send a letter to the family informing them of the gifts we receive.

The Tree of Life
Another special way to pay tribute to your beloved pet is to add a leaf to our shelter’s Tree of Life. The Tree of Life is a mural located in the greeting area of the shelter that depicts the four seasons of central New York. Painted by local artist Julian Button, this beautiful nature scene offers a way for pet owners to memorialize their beloved pet while helping shelter animals as they wait to find their forever homes. Engraved metal leaves are mounted amongst the trees with your pets name and your own special message for all our visitors to see. You can print our Tree of Life form out at home and mail it in or drop it off at the shelter. Leaves are ordered once per year. You will be notified of its placement.

Help our SNOOP program by recycling your bottles and cans. They may be brought to the CSPCA at any time and left in our Dog House.
Guardian Angel Second Chance Fund
The Second Chance Fund is a special program which enables the CSPCA to provide veterinary or supportive care for our sick, injured, abused or neglected animals.
The fund covers the cost for medications, surgery, emergency care, and various treatments outside the scope of what we can typically provide within the shelter for our adoptable shelter animals.
This fund truly gives our homeless animals a second chance by saving lives and offering healthy pets for our community.
SNOOP and the CSPCA Coin Boxes

The pet overpopulation issue is a community problem that needs everyone’s attention. There are basically too many animals and not enough homes. Fortunately, this issue has a solution, it’s through the spaying/neutering.
In an effort to help families who need assistance in getting their animals altered, we have created a special Spay Neuter Community Fund, called SNOOP (Spay Neuter Outreach Opportunity for Pets). SNOOP provides financial assistance to Chenango County families to help cover the costs of spaying/neutering their family pets.
Please support this community fund with an online donation today. And while you are shopping at area businesses, look for our coin boxes which support this program.
